Zain Telecom launches breast cancer awareness campaign


Zain Telecom announced Sunday the launch of its breast cancer awareness campaign as a measure to counter the disease in its early stages.

Head of Public Relations at Zain Waleed Al-Kashti told the press that the campaign would aim at spreading awareness as much as possible amongst women to help against breast cancer, affirming that Zain would utilize visual, audio, and printed medias to achieve this goal.

All of Zain Group’s branches would use a pink ribbon, an international symbol of breast cancer awareness, as a step to show Zain’s serious stance concerning the issue, said the official.

Zain is allocating a huge portion of its social programs to backup this cause in order to help women fight breast cancer, said Al-Khashti.
